it changes yearly I think but rght now I'm going with::
miles Davis- get up with it. (amazing album- super hard compression on everything)
broadcast- haha sound (front to back dope)
trans am- red line ("-- -- -- -- --")
prodigy (mobb deep)- H.N.I.C. (not a front to backer but still really solid)
radiohead- amnesiac/kid a/ hail to the thief (this little span is some of the best music ever made. I would also include johnny greenwood's soundtrack score to the film "bodysong" but not thom yorke's solo joint. just never got into it.)
and as a wild card:
squarepusher- music is rotted one note
plus:
ghostface- supreme clientel

pharcyde raised the bar with that one when it came out, everyone was like dam, "you can have fun and make hip hop, wow"! they suck ass now but whatever, alot of music sucks now. but i tstick behind my man MF Doom, i love how he puts words together, you kinda gotta have an idea of what he's talkin about. some shit i dont even realize till like 3 years after i first heard it then im like oh "he copped a pound with brown money" bought a pound of weed with pennies. like "sittin in class with my wet in a flask, you want a sip get a paper water glass, how im sposed to know when your mouth been last". his scenarios always have me laughing.

Regurgitator - Tu Plang
Dead Kennedys - In God We Trust Inc.
Operation Ivy - s/t
Sublime - Robbin' the Hood
Fat Freddy's Drop - Based on a True Story
Madvillainy
Quasimoto - The Unseen
MF DOOM - Operation Doomsday

I never climbed the ladder in front of me to see where it did not lead. Only when I had never reached the top would I not have seen if the climb was not worth it.
