http://arae.bandcamp.com/track/deep-blueI totally forgot I made this bandcamp page a while ago with songs I did just recording strait into the computer with no edits or software effects.
I was running the Microsampler though the SP-555's effects strait into the interface.
It is an ambient project I forgot about.
I hope yall enjoy!

any one know if you can resample the internal sounds and external at the same time like on the sp-303. for example if i had a resampled loop and i wanted to resample it with some external synth noodling on top...

On a side note, I just found this dudes youtube channel from peeping the Korg Micro Sampler on korgforums. Sampler looks ill and the features sound right too, but this cats beats and playing are on another level. Now I know I don't understand shit about making beats

Anyone knows if the microsampler lets you apply effects to certain pads(keys)?or when you choose an effect all the samples pass thru?(like kp3 which i hate that!)
EDIT:I just saw you can!
But ,when you are on keyboard mode and you play a sample, is the speed(bpm) the same or in an octave down it is played at half speed?

Yo how does the sound and the effects compare to the SPs?

it has the KP3 effects but you can tweek more parameters...the effects are very different,so it's just a matter of taste!
I prefer SP effects(
more control on sound,in KP3 effects you get tripping but that's not bad at all!)

The microsampler effects can be a bit more subtle and the filter seems be smoother. I will say that the sp effects have a bit more of an attitude but sometimes make the sound abrasive. So I like to use the effects on both at the same time. This gives a very robust sound IMO.
