"99 problems but a pitch ain't one..." - said the mpc

narrowed it down to dibiase and teewok. both are on such a high level... jesus  Was really hard to find a logic answer... but got none.

Went with Teewok cause the beat was more "battle". the voc. chops over the guitar sounded right like "tee; wok"... (... ...)
sorry for the tie... didn't know that.

Shoutouts to everybody submitting a beat.

*cough sample for 56?*

ok peeps, again, only my opinion.

count sierackula
Very chill, nice laid back sound. I am digging the ring modulated bells or something that drift and swirl in the background. I also titled mine dreaming so props to that.

dibiase
Damn dude this is suuper chill. Awesome intro. Diggin the use of the wah in there. I am super impressed. Awesome work from the master of mutes. You mentioned that you record back in the sp and add mutes and post effects. When you do this, do you record the whole track back onto a single pad, play the pad, press record, and effect the fuck outta it? I have never thought of recording back into the sp but am definitely gonna try this on the next battle. Speaking of which, can you pick something for 56 and keep this train rolling? :) gracias

ellaguru
Hell yeah. Sick lo-fi drums. Crazy vocals. Pretty tight. Dirty-irty-irty.

HD
Yes, intro is nice. woah! This shit is very fuckin tight. I always dig your tracks. So far you get my vote. The pitched airy type sounds you use towards the middle of the track are sweet. Very dreamy, make you think type of track that takes you on a mini journey. CELLO YES :) If you don't mind me asking. How did you achieve the slowing down effect you used on the track at the end? Top notch.

jmoki
Nice chops. I like the buzzing sound used at the beginning and end.

jon wayne
Soft, emotional and thoughtful. Can definitely see some peeps flowing to this one. You get my vote for easiest track to potentially flow to. Sick drums, nice change ups, big up!

oaxaca
uh-oh. I couldn't get you beat to play. I may be the only one with this problem but I am running safari on a mac. No luck. I'm sorry.

phemox
I like parties too. Vocals sit nicely within track.

steve c
I like how you used choppy samples too. I wanted to use that same ringing type of triangle sound but didn't end up fitting it in. Dreamy beginning and end. Props.

teewok
Ever since I was roommates with a dude who thought jay-z and dmx were gods, I can't dig on jay-z. My opinion is tainted.

wundrkut
whoah! This is tight as fuck. I like the pumping going on through the track. Way to make a lasting impact. You also get the award for super flowable track. Those bass kicks you use sound so good. mmm...mmm.... The kicks alone sway my vote. Good luck and I hope you get more votes.

So, if you didn't read all the way through, my vote goes to wundrkut. Big up to everyone who battled. Now let's hurry up and get something for 56 posted.

peesh
