not really man, I used one can of Krylon Fusion satin black at first, then ran out, and since I really wanted it flat black I went over it again with Ultra Flat Camo Black (w/ Krylon Fusion technology) both of the fusions are supposed to be made for plastic w/ no primer, but the camo would def. need some sort of primer I think, it's a lot thinner/more prone to running
