i always try to stray from resampling a chop thats chopped exactly how i want it, i usually add some of the sample back in on both ends and then take the time back away from the resample, esp if i am resampling with an effect on, cause otherwise i sometimes notice annoying clicks and stuff, if i resample with an effect on i always remark everything

Only thing I could recommend is just recording single stuff at the time.
Like listen to the record, mark the part you think you can do something with, then record those parts.
Thanks for your insights, yeah, you're right.
It's probably a lot easier indeed to sample incoming audio, instead of importing a WAV file from the compact flash card that has one entire song. I did the latter for the Battle #61, but it took way too much time to chop it into smaller chunks. :p
