Hey Fauna! When I say it's hard it doesn't mean it's not good. I think it's better when it's hard so people have to be more creative.

wat up sp-heads, i almost submitted my beat but i just wasnt happy with it. nonetheless i was really interested to see wat you all did with the sample so i voted. i gotta say there were things that i dug in all the beats but in the end i was reeeally torn between IIIII and teewok, i voted for IIIII.

IIIII- man that thing just flooows so nice, for sure the sound of your drums and the sequence were my favorite of all, theres a nice sense of space in this beat and i appreciate it that the strings drop out half way through and then it gets a little tubby/dubby.

teewok- for me this one also flows real nice but its more out there, i dig how warpy it is (im not referring to the label) i love your cuts/sections that your hitting and how you put them together. This beat is also nice and spacey but in a different way.

i would vote these two tied for first with Euclid taking second and then steveC and schmiddyy tied for third.

Again, I liked certain elements of all the beats, but those mentioned above were my favorites. Sorry for not commenting on the others but im exhausted and dozingh off. I truly dig these forums, so i say cheers to all of you.

I was about to vote IIII (very nice atmospheric composition) but then Wax just upped it even more with a beat that provoked a spontaneous headnod mmm mmmm. Very nice how you managed to squeeze quality drums out of this difficult sample.

Waddup fam. It's been a really hectic week and I only got a minute to drop this vote, so I'm gonna keep this short. I think everyone did a great job with this sample... I found it a bit challenging (not in a bad way... just saying), but I was really floored when I finished my track and listened to what everyone else was able to come up with.

Think I'm gonna have to give the vote to Fauna. I've been listening to a lot of DJ Cam lately, and it kindof reminded me of that vibe.

I noticed some really dope use of the subsonic effect in Elhau's track to lay down that bassline, if I'm not mistaken... and the scratching on Wax's track was crazy! Like I said, everyone else did a great job as well... especially with the drums. Appreciate all the feedback as well... it was another great round in here! 8)

Thanx dudes... Just gimme some time to pick a sample... I'm not in the house of wax so I need to dig through my moms mp3 collection. I'm really keen on a 80's battle, but we'll see what jumps to my mind...
