sorry the question was not good posed...
i would like to know if we can change the tune (pitch) of the sample and if it's so could we make it live? maybe in the fx section there is the answer?i know we can change bpm without changing the pitch, that's great for rythm samples, but if we have some keyboard samples how do we find other notes?

for the question about ROLL type, i found the answer in the manual, it's a pity, we cannot record it while in resample mode:(...we only can play it live...

No the 606 does not pitch samples, the software might though. I have never used the software or any software with the 606 so it could be possible, but not with the stock 606.

But maybe we can use the pitch fx, isn'it? like the pitch fx in the sp-303...but in the sp-606 this is called pitch shifter...anyway this will not modify the lenght of the sample...neither if we change the bpm?

******
fot the ROLL question: any suggestions? how to over this "problem"?
thanx

the roll I am not sure never really use it myself. Yes you can mute pads in the micro edit function and change velocity for each note, ( gets really good drums that way ) or you could use the erase feature and delete the pad at what ever time you want.

[/quote]Yes you can mute pads in the micro edit function and change velocity for each note

Another little question: i've read the manual at page 33 for the fx...is not clear to me if:
1)Can we apply more fx to a pad (not like in the sp-303)?
2)Can we apply different fx to different pads in one time (not like in the sp-303)?
3)Do the incoming audio from the AUDIO INPUT jack (not the INPUT SOURCE) could be fx processed (and also with two or more fx)?

#1: resample
#2: on the 606 i think u can use 2 mfx at once and a master fx simultaneously per pad. anything more then refer to answer #1
#3: yes, just setup what fx u wanna use before u sample in. n for more then 2 mfx #1 would be your answer

How do you pitch with the sp-606? Only with resample+fx(pitch shifter)? No other ways?

the other way is to load the sample into the p606 software. also pretty much any audio editor or daw has a decent pitch shift feature

Actually, there is another way. I don't have an SP606 anymore, so I'll have to go with what I remember, but if I'm not mistaken it both sped up and changed pitch. Not so sure if that's what you are looking for.

It works by changing the BPM and resampling. Damn, if only I would have written down the exact steps, sorry. It can't be done live though, for that you'll need the MFX.
