Thanks for the help guys. I'm having a blast with my 404 I just have one question.How do I loop or gate the 12 standard samples that are assigned to pad bank A when you first receive your 404. I have read the manual and searched the forum and got no answer. I am only able to loop samples and put them in gate playback mode in bank B. When I try to do any of those to the samples that came with the 404 on ank A it doesnt seem to work. any help?

also I would go to Barnes and Noble and get the Recording Studio at home for dummies or whatever that book is called..it's a quick read and goes into some detail about midi, audio, soundproofing etc.

if i recall correctly, the original samples they give you are just "locked" so you dont accidentally delete them while learning

you should be able to read how to unlock them in the manual because i dont actually remember its been so long ago
