Works that way with any pad controller. I'd go for the Korg PadKontrol, it's just plain better.

I had a TF and they're real nice, but the Pad Kontrol is better in my opinion. Any one know about the MPD-24?, I hear it's kinda crap.

i didnt think it was possible but i broke my pads in, rubbed the numbers off now they are way more soft and resposnive.

I bought my new 404 3 weeks ago and have the same problem with the pads...I think (hope) too, that they will work better after a while...but still not sure, though...

mine are gummy but not sticky . do they stick after a while?

Yo, Oldman that pads will both break in a little and you'll get used to them after a while.
