somebody mentioned pc speakers...

Some time ago there was a debate on our local pro-audio forum
about Gigabyte GP-6500 speakers that cost 18 EURO...
Day after day people went to shop and some took 2-3-4 pairs,
and you could see those gigabytes in studios standing near Adams, Questeds, Krk's,NS10's... that gigabyte madness lasted like two weeks...
When I entered that computer store, the salesman asked me:
OH, you came for the speakers? I said: yes, how do you know?
Well, I know, he grinned.
We only sell the Gigabyte GP-6500 for last 7 days.
I was like
He told me that he sold 2 euro palettes per day... and asked WTF are you all buying those speakers?
And I asked him: did you try a pair to hear how they sound?
He didn't offcourse.

So... If someone needs cheap and quite linear PC speakers,
check those little GP-6500's
You will be surprised.
I have 2 pairs.

Some crazy DIV-ers even recoiled the tweeters...

Worth to check, belive me, those little gems are worth much much more than 18 euros.

I don't quite agree, but I do agree that in general they are great speakers still.

I've got Edirol MA-15D monitors now, really nice and still affordable. Def good enough for now for me. 8)

The dual input with independent volume control sounds real nice.
