The "root" folder is directly on the card (this is the "home" folder when you open the card, the first folder you are at when you browse the card contents). You shouldn't have to open a folder to access the file. It should auto-update once you have it there...

Just curious, do you plan to inform Roland of the problem you found with System Version 1.11? You might post on the Rolandclan.info forum, see what kind of response you get... I fear that now that the 606 is "old" (i.e. Roland wants everyone to buy the SP-555), they won't be working on any system updates...
