Yeah, let it ride. I have one down, planning on flipping a few more. Plus it's bad luck the end a battle during the weekend.

505 is tough sometimes. Ended up just using 1 pattern and doing manual part mutes, stops, etc. Not easy to be as creative when still learning machine and butting up with limitations. Def miss the resample method! Had fun though. I was recording takes for at least an hour before I just got one in the can and went with it. Ran into polyphony limits as well. Heard a few of the other entries good stuff!

Ya you are right- you can resample a pad and play other pads in the same bank at same time but I guess I was wanting to resample patterns. I did notice you can sample from ext w fx but I have not really found a use for that. I felt like building things on the 404sx was different- not sure if I used to resample patterns or what- been so long. I was just struggling on the 505 with polyphony as well and without pattern resample was tough. Having to perform the mix live took a long time and many many tries but that is part of the fun and you end up w new ideas and building the track a bit this way rather than making patterns for everything (which is what I did for BB371). Doing a stop, trigger, rewind, change mutes- all in 1 move was fun when I nailed it. Was up till after 6am tho damn hah! Made a YT as well just for fun w a bit of time lapse.

Yeah, I wanted to make a mix with a few short beats also, but I'm probably not going to have the time this week. This was the first one, real simple, kinda just the intro. I'll finish the rest later.
