Peep game, if you download the demo of ableton live from the site and run it in the demo mode, almost all features are available for use. The only real stipulation is that you can't mixdown your tracks and export the file as an .mp3, but this is not a problem since we all have magical things called samplers that let us record numerous types of audio sources. So just run a line to rca cable from your computer into your sampler or multitrack/tape 2-track or whatever you can think of and then track the session back to like audacity or reaper and chop, arrange, mixdown or all the above. All for free.

I found a dude selling macbooks for ZAR800... that's about $100!

Sounds dodgy as hell though.... I think they might be stolen from customs.

Definitely sounds shady. In my weaker days I've been known to take advantage of illegitimate deals, but now I see that only good things come with hard work and anything that comes easy isn't worth it.

Well if you get one, just hope it was stolen from an asshole and maybe you've been presented with the opportunity because you do more good with it in your hands. It's a stretch to believe so if you do get one at least start a blog about the crimes being committed in Africa and only use the computer to make positive and creative changes and maybe you can tip karma in your favor a little.

Naaah, I'm not even thinking about buying one... I don't believe in buying stolen goods, even if they are stolen from assholes. It's not good for the future of your soul.
