I'd suggest that any solution for getting your beats heard is encapsulated in the 'bouncing allowed' proviso. A few regulars around here bounce to cassette... as an 808 user i have to run audio out - i send my signal thru a tapco mixer with channels set to flat eq to a tascam dr1 (like a zoom) then slot the sd-card in the laptop to extract beats. If you're just using garage/ableton for capture there surely can't be any issues.

That beat tho! Some serious audio right there!!

hey peeps. i was talking about chopping the samples. felt "un sp-like" to chop em on my computer. so did it with the markers on the sp.

about choppin the beat after the process - mine was longer so i resampled it and at 0:59 DJFXed it to a tape-stop effect to end it earlier.

btw i dont really care what other people do i just didnt want to violate any rules in the future :)
