Really stoked that Week 2 is not just gonna be me! Really hyped to hear what you guys come up with.
I have wanted an H2/H4n for quite a while now, but until I can afford one I'm doing straight integrated mic on the SX
@jangle not too much treatment... for the bass I used a couple c-canceller to mono bounces to get rid of the midrange reese bass sound chromatic pitch gives stuff. for the table-pound-drum I just did Comp to get the level higher, Isolator [lows higher to make the kick, then I cut all the lows to make it a snare, then cut all the mids to make it a hat, and then the mark-soften-comp technique I described above] then just COMP on the final beat to make the rustled notebook pump in and out

Damn I didn't get a chance to put anything together last week. Been super busy, will most definitely post something this week.
Way to start things off Marco

i didn't even know my SX had an inbuilt mic.....
i'll definitely be involved with this!
i do some casual work in location recording and foley for short films and commercials so it's gonna be dope to share ideas and findings.

yes! I posted on [Friday I think?] meaning week one had a whole extra two bonus days [even though I was the only one who submitted something and I took less than a day to do it =.=]
but do not fret, this is an ongoing forum challenge/experiment and there will be many weeks to submit things as long as people still want to play along! Maybe I should post in big red letters every monday BEGINNING OF WEEK X

Hahaha came in at an awkward time, just got an email saying I can post here so just sorta jumping into the middle o' the shit. I'll go on an adventure today and take some drum sticks with me.
Would it be cheating if I sampled my drum set for drums?

hahahahahaha, yeah probably... maybe if you did something weird with them like dropped change into it or put the SP inside one of the drums and just rubbed it until it made a weird resonant hum
on another note my mental health has been declining [again] idk if I'm gonna be able to make a submission today for week 2... all I had gotten yesterday was some weird gurgly shit, I guess if nothing else I can post that

No internal mic on the 808, but it has a pretty noisy internal drive. Just enough room with the disc in there to slip a piezo into it...

404SX in the garden.
bass synth is isolated and chromatic pitched plane flying overhead.
the rest is fairly unprocessed.
