thanks - a German speaking friend had me going soon as I posted the track. He knew i had no idea what the words meant - picked it up and ran with it.

said I had insulted the entire people of Germany and would be lucky if i wasn't kicked off the board in disgrace - and told - in german and english - where to go.

I was very happy when wax laughed at what it meant.

thanks for everybody who voted - I was feeling a right "scheisskopff"(?) for awhile. I fell off my chair when i got my first vote.

When will my incumbency(?) be over?

Is it enough time to put another beat to the machine?

(Do you think this is still the spirit of sp-battles? You know with that kinda "easy" samples&drums? I enjoyed it 'cause people can show a lot more and they did stuff you will listen for some time... but is it the way this arena was made for or is it about making gold outta garbage? I remember the time where guys had to drop some sick ass drums outta nothing... :roll:

Good point, although I appreciate the drum breaks, because they are pretty useful.

I guesse the battle will be over sometime today. If BC was winning by more than 1 vote I would say it ends now- but the site was down for quite a few hours during the poll, so maby the vote should be extended a few hours. Any opinions on this?

word, you kids dont know how easy you got it nowadays :lol:

but since the begining the rules said you can post a breakbeat along with the sample, it just never caught on until later. If you dont like having a breakbeat with the sample there is only one thing you can do about it....... and thats win the battle and dont post a breakbeat :lol:

allright, Bishojo Command wins WOOO WHOOO!!!

I recieved a PM from BC saying he is gonna be busy for a little while and gave a sample to post if he won. he said he didnt have any breaks on hand and asked if we could post a break for him. considering these opinions I guesse we can skip the drumbreak

one idea I had was to post the kick, snare, and hihat stock sounds on the 404 :lol:

Yo that's a craaaaaazy idea... i don't even remember them... There was a rimshot in there, right? They were so unuseful clean.... :lol:

I like that idea, but what about the users having no 404??? I mean they don't know the sounds and all (which doesn't really matter) ?

Maybe another "typical" set like the 808 (drummachine) would be an alternative ? (Just thinking) but I'll guess that won't take us back in history of sp-battles...

.. so if it's to me: Give us that sucka sounds!!!

(open hihat and the crash would be nice, too... :oops:

i'm happy to try another battle without a breakbeat, but from experience i have alot more fun and create (i think) more interesting beats when there's a sick break to slice up
