only used the 2 samples and all made in the SP-404.

sp 303 + resamplings
Most samples were recorded in lofi mode to save A, B banks space.
I used outside sample of jazz thumpeter Winton Marsalis from documentary film "Jazz".

"According Rules"
(The rules are - SP's only, bouncing to tape, PC or another SP is allowed. Minor vocal samples... Chop on whatever you want to use, just final beat needs to be all SP... I'll let a little other mastering gear/software slide too)

Tecnique and info
Used hseiken samples and some second of voices recorded at the central station of Gothenburg, Sweden, Europe, the world....
Bouncing.
Resampling.
MFX.
Headphone mix... Hope it sound OK.
From SP-404 to mixer and a little reverb..
Recorded to Audacity where i applied fade in and out..
and converted to mp3. Upload to SC. Done. 124BPM.

This is the first beat made with my new SP-404. I used my first SP for almost 10 years. Sure is nice not having to smash the pads! Wasn't very critical making this. Just let loose and had a blast getting to know my new best friend!

i used: The 2 samples from Hseiken - own FX/Vocalsamples - kungfumovievocalcuts
took sum time editing the drums before flipping them.Thnx for that too Hseiken!

if you guys hear a ''woodblockishsnare'' at : 0.25sec ,
thats a cripple guy from a kung fu movie walking with a stick and shaking a chained door like a mad man....
wich is also used at : 0.32sec - i really missed a lil percussion,
so...I hope it would not be a problem with the rules (?)

Many layers of resampled phrases played together in one take from sx to tape.

shit started a new topic by mistake , but ne ways , sample was dope had a lot of fun with it jst used resample method and isolation and delay for the beat and had fun with a busta vocal snippet and the djfxlooper
