im with the mpc1000 with jjos2xl. just buy it.. great machine!!
For me definitely the MV, when you understand how it works, it starts to work for you.
I don't think that one machine is be better than the other, all depends on for what you need it, what kind of music you make.
I started making beats in Fruity Loops, then I decided to take a standalone hardware, firstly I was looking for an MPC because it's a classic Hip-Hop sampler, then I decide to look what else was in the market and when I saw the MV, I said - that's what I need! But at first I took the MC-808 because it's was less expensive, then the next year I took the MV and i liked it!
Now I'm looking for an SP-808 for the combo!)
