Killer battle!
Sleepy Eyes- That beat is like butter. Those different snares sound great together.
IIIII- That's hardcore. That high pitch sound that comes in at 1:40 is PERFECT!
Lerabots- Fantastic! Especially that dramatic build-up leading into the unexpected light melody that sounds, to me, like something flipped from Mario Kart. Great use of the looper effects.
Asha C- My head was nodding uncontrollably! You get 2nd place in my book.
CGKO- More really impressive use of the looper effects.
Chickadee- Really dope drum beat. The highs were a little much for my ears, but it does sound like you had fun with them. 0:24 was my favorite moment.
Lazer Bear- Very dope! I really dig the simple bassline that comes in at :20 and again at 1:17.
DJ KS- After hearing a few intense beats in a row this was a nice breath of fresh air. Great sound for echo on the 1st half.
Pootie Tang- Wa da tah. That snare sound is sa da tay!
Mad Evil Science- Dope art work, really dope beat. 1:21!!!!
Wizzart of OSC- 0:44!!! It was like the beat stopped to take a breath.. or a puff! HAHA!
Blavatsky- Around 1:02 I got CHILLS! For that, you got my vote.

Such a kick-ass battle. Thanks for the time extension and thanks for the feedback! These battles make for a wonderful learning process. SP LIFE!

I'm not sure I understand the question, haha! I think I do though. I used to just do the experimental stuff for fun and focus more on making beats for people to rap or sing over, but these battles give me a nice reason to go wild with experimental effects. I am seriously so glad I found this website!

yo I'm seriously debating not voting because its such a hard decision. I've already listened to every ones beat like 10 times each and still can't decide. thanks for the feedback guys, I think my new goal is to make a beat that tfa can't find any negatives on. I don't know maybe i'll be able to decide on a winner later

my vote goes to blavatsky, felt it was the most ''complete'' beat even tho all the beats are really good IMO.

Hey no problems man, you pulled out those notes really well & with the pitch shift I assumed they were a synth. My bad!

Wait... I just re-listened to your beat. Sorry man, got your tune mistaken with someone else's. 2x my bad!

Damn, thought I tried to make sure there were no typos. The question was meant to be 'do you make much more experimental music?' So yeah, you picked it (is there any of it posted online?). Yeah the battles here & tight community are awesome, they really do help us all get better. Be glad you can't find my old battle beats, they sucked! You lot have really upped the game of late.
