That's interesting you hear that coming through in my music-i'm not doing it purposely, but yea,lol,personally-contents are definitely under some serious pressure. Thanks man. And thanks a lot mohzus & other that have had some good words about my beat,it's more than appreciated.

this was one of the hardest decisions ive made in a while. this battle was nasty! and i enjoyed everyones beats. Count, Old tapes, n Teewok came with some real soulful beats; Kel almost broke my neck with that remix; Blav, AD, IIIII n Formal came off with some straight bangers! DJ Mellow switched up with tempo wit that booty shakin break. Gis had some real creative samples too. All in all just a great compilation, but in the end i gave my vote to Teewok, with AD n Blav close behind.

Wow... let's do some cover art and put these out as an EP. Sick... sick... beats. I loved reading up on the different production notes/techniques. Lots of favorites here, but I think I gotta give it up to adru. Nicely done man. Great balance between the grime and polish.

Thanks a lot count,i appreciate that a lot-and that's a dope idea to make this an official little ep. we should maybe all get some bandcamp shit going as a collective, with a better name than just "sp forums..."S.Pro's?S.Prose.. lol,yo I really appologize for coming off somewhat patronizing when this started up,i musta been having a bad day-and it's good to see a vet from the good ol days(a whole 2-3 years ago, lol, not really a long time ago at all) back up on here, wish more people would come back.

Word up man... I hear you.
The bandcamp page is a good idea. I'll mess around with it a bit and put a link up in the next day or so. We could do separate volumes with the open challenges... or maybe all the arena stuff. Maybe have a new volume go up there every week or so. Naming it something without "sp-forums.com" is a good idea too. Package it more as an independent collective.

yo Mellow, you found some NICE drum break
I loved those synth sounds from formal
JakDaRabit - this female vocal part was crazy
I enjoyed the rest of the beats too, but I liked aD's and 5I the most

had to go with blavatsky, it was a tough choice though everyone made really solid beats. his tune felt like a complete, well constructed song. i like the open challenge, this is my first time doing one, but i like the freedom you have to pretty much use whatever sounds you want, thanks for the kind words everyone. peace.

great stuff in here, and thanks for some of the flattering comments i've seen on here for my beat
very hard choice...teewok had the great strings/almost wu-tangy style
old tapes, great groove, nice snappy snare
gis sweden, killer spoon/bottle percussion
sierakula, a great mix / sample choices, very tight
kel, nice sick dark fast arp, dirty bass
IIIII - sick beat, good shuffle again dark sounds
dj mellow - great break, some cool funky instrument stuff too
4ormal - gameboy grit, zombie movie hip hop style
jakdarabid - cool soundtracky/tropical song
AD - had my attention from first sample, nice melody, dust , groove - winner
great battle guys

Man this was a very hard decision. Everything I heard was very inspiring to say the least. I had to vote for the first one I listened to for a second time which was lllll. Ridiculous intro into a smooth ass beat dope melody, seamless changeup almost didn't notice it happening. Great job everybody Im gonna download this for sure.
