I was thinking about this and what would be really cool would be an adapter to share the CF card between your computer and the sampler.

so there is a CF shaped interface to go into the sampler > a card reader < a usb adapter to go into your pc.

It would need some logic to prevent both devices trying to read/write at the same time. Or would the pc be intelligent enough to know the drive was unavailable whilst the sampler was accessing?

Not having to continually swap the card over would make this a joy to use.

Anything like this exist?

I have the Beta installed, and I am using it. I am going to try to place my notes at the dev site...excellent work! One thing I noticed...it lets me open an aif file, but it corrupted it pretty badly...I went back to pure WAV files and have not had any issues.

It should support aif files, but since I implemented that some times ago, it's possible I broke that in the process. I will look at the code to see what happens.

Anyway, I guess this is what beta testing is for
