I just downloaded Fruity Loops at my job so that I can work on drum patterns during downtime, does anybody know how to make the window smaller so that it doesn’t take up the whole screen?

if you figure that out let me know. I know you can get rid of a few of those objects to the right on the menu items. I dont know what they arew called but right click em and it will bring up a list and you can turn shit off you dont use. The transport panel is probably all you need. And maybe the patter window. Other than that you can probably only get the window to be half of your screen cause it crams the browser in there when you resize.

Thats kinda what i meant but everything just gets squished and all those little windows start to stack and it takes up even more space. So i suggested turning a few of em off.

you just detatch the dock items you want, you can also right click the dock and remove unwanted items like the online panel or whatever, once your transport detatched you can resize the sequencer to fit on your page, it should float behind other windows, but you can set it to stay on top. if you want.

version 3 is waaay back in the day and i dont thnk the windows had those problems back then. I started on 3 and i remember everything fit and was managable. Once the new versions came out, they changed the window manager and the pattern window and it got screwy.
