hey y'all.
volume knob on my 303's been busted since i bought it. it's stuck on '10'. and it only works when i put pressure on it. without knowing too much about the circuitry i'm a little hesitant to rip it open and do experimental surgery. thought? cheers.

Re: broken volume knob...
probably just need to resolder the metal 'legs' where the volume control joins with the circuit board..
Although it perhaps could be something inside the knob, in which case you need to find a replacement part (hopefully says on the side if u open up the box and have a look at the guts of the knob - there is a Type (A or B) and a resistance value (usually something like "10K")
BTW the technical name for the functional part of a knob (not the plastic cap) is potentiometer or 'Pot'
