University of Sydney adopts 404

I was watching a documentary on the electronic/classical music experiments that have been being conducted at the University of Sydney the other day, and lo and behold there was a dude rocking the 404!

As if that wasn't cool enough - then the bloke spoke about it! He said the uni were using a number of 404's, as they were (quote), "Simple, direct and creative - perfect for introducing performers to the the idea of sampling"...

fuck! i knew i went to the wrong university. I was going to go there until i just settled for the university that was closer, which is pretty bad in terms of the arts divisions.

a pokemon ad campaign came to the school today, and the kids liked it but i thought it was a little too gimmicky. anyway while they were packin up i saw the sp00404 and i was like can you read english; check out the spforums and what nots. anyway he was awed that i was tappin the pads with familiarity and told him if u want to copy a pattern u hold cancel and push bank c.

pokemon!!!

and by the way the chick in the pikachu suit was hot; just goes to show...

no no, i am a teacher at a large kindergarten. they were promoting. i was just giving another example of how the sp series is everywhere.
