if you have a mac, you can use a tight little app called switch. it also does other format conversions but that's what i use it for. if you don't have a mac, get a job! =)

What are the California permit laws? Do they keep a 16-year-old from working too much? That would be weird, I'd figure someone that old could decide for themselves how much to work. Hell, I had my first job in a restaurant at 14, although I did have to pretend to be related to the owner to keep it legit for the labor commision. I think 15 is the minimum where I came from. Mississippi, that is. That was 10 years ago, I have no idea what the law is now.

People are pretty shady and reluctant about hiring teens under 18 in California, but I grew up in Berkeley which is a big college town so business owners would rather hire college students since there' plenty of them around.

only l;ike 10 hours a week...and if i work over...washing dishes....they could get my boss or something...lol
