I'm kind of hitting a wall deciding which is my 'favorite'. this is more of a showcase of everybody's latest beat. They are all different and all have something special. with sp-battles it's much easier to hear what's going on cuz they all have the same sample... but this is cool too because we wrote about how we made it...sooo I think i'm going with Count this one... even if there weren't any 'laser' sounds

@ Kel
Thanks mane!

I'm gonna have to mull this over a bit. These beats are ridiculous. It's damn near impossible to narrow it down to 1 favorite...

Thanks for the props wax :)

I too am gonna take a day to let the beats settle in before I cast my vote. It's a really great feeling knowing there's so many talented cats in our little community. It keeps up the positive pressure to keep expanding our music/skills.

aD's beat had such an ill vibe to it (kinda spooky), everything was dope about it. The drums sounded amazing on it too - the vocal stabs -> great work
Blavatsky's beat was a journey - exciting the whole way through very awesome
JackDaRabit worked in a ill loop with that break, i could just listen to that loop for hours
everybody else was dope too

aD gets my vote

So much good shit to pick from. For me it was aD and blavatsky. aD had such a dope vibe goin on, but I had to go with blavatsky. His track was such a great musical journey and I really enjoyed the diverse sample selection and sequencing. Good job to everybody!!

Other notable favs were The Count's and Teewoks :)

@ IIIII thanks for the vote!

Wow,this ended up being a pretty amazing collection of beats-like the rest of you I'm having a hard time picking a favorite. Gotta say I'm feeling teewoks and kels the most-and blav's on just some other wordly creativity shit-mad impressive. Been trying to question if I would hear kels the same without vocals over it-but then again personally i listen to most beats from an emcees perspective-and that shit's a banger- perfectly constructed for rhymes..tees' would be dope to spit to as well,on some more laid back shit,I love the drums(funny how our drums ended up sounding somewhat simmilar : ) and the little changes he always has up in his stuff.and again blav-the blending of so many different records/styles in one beat is impressive. Shit, I'm also really feeling jacks and old tapes too...and the rest i havent mentioned are nothing to be taken lightly at all.I think I gotta go with Kel though- I just wanted to give everyone some proppers though, these battles are really starting to step up to the quality level that inspired me so much a couple years ago. Anyway,yea-kel-dope shit man....
