That is the current state of your average teen. Kid’s seeing, and hearing everything from murder to dolphin fucking. Daily. So perhaps they are trying to be a certain way, but perhaps they aren’t

This is a very interesting point, man. I had not really thought of it in terms of the internet and how fucked up mentally teens are these days b/c of all the shit they see on the computer really young....

I still think the over the top image and content is def by design, but yea, you make a really good point there. Peace

even tho most of thier shit doesn't give you an actual message, I think they defenitly represente a current mindstate of the young people at our time.

I don,t know how long they'll keep being around or if they'll be remembered in few years, but to me right now, it feel like OF is tolly putting into music a current generation of fucked up kid (cause of the internet/mass culture/fucked up family) and I kinda find myself into that even thos I'm around 21. I'm totally getting to what Tyler wanna say in bastard/yonkers/sandwish. he's putting to the table what you have inside you and you don,t want other people to know 'bout you. everyone has those inside shit, ooh and yeah he's tolly including random funny shit inside that also witch to some people might make a song less pure or true to his original meaning.

I just think that overall Tyler's "intelligent/story" song defenitly have their sense of originality and aren't just ryming random stuff. even tho some of thier song are just messing around, but i don,t think there is any album that I like that doesn,t have retarded song about smoking joints or having fun.

Yea man..you def right there. My point bout them is kinda overstated...I guess it's a reaction to the crazy hype they get when I feel there are so many other more worthy artists that don't get the spotlight. But overall man I think they are good for Hip Hop. They are more lyrical and more underground then most anything on a similar profile of buzz

i remember hearing that Earl sweatshirt song along time ago. the one where hes in a barbers chair. They are pretty cool. If i hadnt ever heard any horrorcore raps before, or electronic hip hop beats then id probably be more impressed. Also i gotta admit since im older than them im envious that their making way bigger moves than me.
