I'm gonnna blame it all on my show being earth-shaking, haha since my first show was only about a day before this all happened(i'll post the show later, we jsut got power and it's not the first thing on my mind, honestly).

seriously though it's been one of the most amazing things i've lived through and i've seen a bit. i was amazed at the power of this planet. it's really sad how many people are not only dead and injured but also without power, cold, hungry, without cash, stuck in elevators and train stations. I've been relatively lucky having a wood burning stove at my in-laws.

What I am so worried about now is 1. the nuclear meltdowns in fukushima and 2. the acid rain coming from the explosion at a huge petroleum plant. even so, i am inspired at how the nation has worked together and avoided further problems by not looting and ultimately trying to help others.
thanks for thinking of us here out east. right now we need the love.

Good to see you're alright man, I can't immagine what it would feel like to be surrounded by the aftermath of that shit. I just heard from my good friend in Japan and he's alright, so that was a big relief. Not just another normal year I guess.......11

stay or get the hell out? what would you do?

my wife's family is here plus my job. and i really don't have the cash, of course i can borrow the money if i have to. it seems the whole nuclear thing is getting worse and there is a real threat of meltdown, maybe times 2 or 3 or 4  i live 3-400 miles or a four hour drive away.

Wow man, keep us posted about the situation on the ground. I've got buddies who are nuclear engineers and they assure me it's amazing the reactors have withstood all that they have, which I'm sure doesn't lessen the tension you all feel at the threat of meltdown. (I'll keep my own thoughts regarding nuclear power to myself) If there's anyone in the world that can handle some technical miracles in a high-pressure crisis situation, it'll be the Japanese.

Much love and thoughts to all those suffering out there right now. I've got faith in the Japanese people (NO LOOTING!?) and I feel certain they'll rebuild bigger and better than before.

If a complete meltdown is a really big possibility- I wouldn't see any other option than to bounce with my family if the money were available. At least head to the states for a while. At the same time- I really don't think things will go that far..and if they did- we'd pretty much all be fucked anyway. I've seen reliable reports that if a meltdown were to occur-it would spread to the u.s. within 5 days- basically it would make Chernobyl look like an oil spill. I honestly don't see this happening though...still-if the money is there- I'd probably get away just to be as safe as possible. Personally I'd see this as the only option.But,again- I don't see a tragedy on this scale happening to so many innocent people. It seems things are on their way to being under control, & I have complete faith they will be.

On another note-shouldn't events like this convince the powers that be that that's enough w the nucular power already? We don't need it, it's not neccesarry-and is more of a threat(referring to nuclear weapons) to the end of the world than any "appocolypse" or 2012 bullshit could ever be. It's just not worth it in the least when metdowns can possibly happen and endanger the lives of millions. Shit's crazy and makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

thanks guys, i'm feeling better now. as for what energy source is and why it isn't good, i hear ya'll. i keep thinking, if this earthquake had been followed by the tsunami only i could chill out. but yeah, right now it seems better.

No more American fear media (i mean news) for a while.

i'm not trying to downplay either of the situations, and both of the canada events were very minor with no casulties, it was a radio active water spill or something in ontario and apperently is unrelated to the earth quake here, this stuff kinda scares me though , I want to get as much stuff done as possible, I'm not shure why but i feel like im running out of time, even though I have all the time in the world being pretty much disabled with a bunk knee.

Yeah didn't know all that. Take care of yourself. Sad to here even beautiful land like in Canada is being mistreated.
I for one don't prescribe to such a defeatist notion that we are running out of time. Though I may one of the few. I would say it's more like we are running into the end of an era. And good riddance. We can't just blindly accept our fate as god or government willed. From now on I will be demanding of a much more stable power source and expect to be rather vocal about it.
