i saw a video on you tube saying $399.... they are just as bad with those things are as roland is with their samplers. adding features while dropping features.

i heard the price is about 350 USD . all those effects are good but why did they drop sampling capabilities? i had kp3 and the main thing i liked was sampling/resampling on the fly and playing those samples without stopping audio and remixing tunes (kind of), although 4 buttons weren't enough, that's why i moved to sp's. and now that i see i've moved in the right direction, although would like to play with kpq =]

price of a kp3 is still £300, quad released at £199.

I don't think it's meant as a replacement, just an addition to the family.

KP3 can be bought for half that much though, that's just official price not street price.

And I am very dissappointed with KP Quad.. I hope they release some other professional effects/looping thing that is an upgrade for KP3.. All the time from getting the 3 I was thinking.. man if they do it RIGHT.. the KP4 will be EPIC!!!!! But of course they went and fucked themselves up their own ass

i just meant that becasue the rrp hasn't been dropped, the kp3 doesn't appear to be discontinued so that a kp4 could still be on the way, with the quad just being an addition.
if the quad is the kp4, i see why your not happy!! crippling "upgrades" seems to be a trend at the moment.
