Especially when the sun is out and I'm having a relaxing walk getting a bit of a buzz onm:) Sunlight is also one of my 'friends'.

who are your friends?

My friends (in order of closeness). I left off 'associates' who I only hang out with rarely now..

- Codeine (Half friend Half enemy...Love the warm fuzz soooo much! Cutting back slowly but still need it every 24-36hours to keep withdrawals at bay)

- MJ - You bring me back to nature, earth, my mind, what's important...

- Josè & Jack - Jose gives me an energy boost like nothing else, it's bizarre... Everyone else throws up, I feel like I can drink for 4 days straight after downing half a bottle of Jose.. Jack is the maker of the most bizarre alcohol-based nights. - It makes people go insane.

- LSD - Without occasional trips, I would a) lose all hope in new/unknown/exciting/adventure. It keeps me whole, it gives me inspiration and a fresh outlook.. It's like doing a system reset then defragging the disk..

- Valium - The messymaker.. especially since I'm usually on at least codeine when I take it. Valium is a funny one for me.. I abuse it but I have a legitimate reason for using it (social anxiety) - and the reason I get such enjoyment out of it isn't cos it messes you up, its cos it clears my anxiety without making me a dickhead like alcohol.. but then because I feel like I'm not in my anxiety cage anymore, I throw caution to the wind and get drunk and then I do even more embarassing things which if I remember make me more anxious next time.. sigh.

Before I stop myself I want to mention 2C-I/B/D/etc

I think the 2-c's are the most amazing drugs evarr but they failed to take off because they had shit names (either 2c-something or tripstasy),, I still hold out hope that they'll take off, but they're probably more complex to make than MDMA and people are too impatient to wait for the comeup. Way more deserving of a popular drug spot than stupid mephadrone jesus...

To each his own.. and trust me I've had more than my share of experiences with mind altering substances, some good, some bad- and I actually take valium daily, it's perscribed to me. I also am a believer in utilizing certain "drugs" as part of a creative process. But on some real shit-- when you become dependent on stuff you're buying off the street, whether it's weed coke, or pills, just to make it through the day to day-- it WILL lead to some bad shit happening. As far as l.s.d. goes, better be sure that you're getting it from someone you know and trust, and someone that knows everything about what they're working with. I've seen litterally HUNDREDS of people in my life that have never come back from acid trips, whether it was bad shit, or they're brain just snapped-- and they're institutionalized for life. I'll never be one to demonize drug use, but be smart about it-- a day to day regimine like you're describing isn't anything to make light of, or be proud of, honestly. You'll find most of these "friends" can be mad two faced. not trying to preach, just some words from the semi- wise. peace
