Need Serious Help

So, i can not get rid of this buzzing noise when recording in my 404. I have my table plugged into a numark mixer, and the 404 going out of it. The buzzing stops when i take out the white rca out. Im pretty sure it's not my table due to the sound still being present when i turn it off. Also, i know it is not my mixer because i've had the problem with multiple mixers. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

rough man, i had that before, it can be any number of things, is your table grounded?? i gave you that one rca to rca jumpoff with the ground, thats hooked up on the turntable and the mixer right?? also might be that the surge protector your plugging into has some other stuff plugged into it, like a computer or something, that sometimes can cause some noise to come through, we probably need to grab some fresh needles for these tables as well

yeah yeah shit is grounded, ill try to fiddle with it more. ahh it's just starting to put a damper on trying to achieve a crisp sound.

If you have other things plugged into the same circuit (circuit will cover your room or perhaps multiple rooms), these can sometimes cause hum..

My advice is try unplugging everything (start with just the powerpoint you are using the TTable etc on).. then plug it all in one by one.

For me, 50% of the time i have no hum, the other 50% of the time i have to unplug my laptop charger..

Also check that you dont have any loose leads plugged in at one end only, this can cause hum

try unplugging the unit and operating it off of batteries. this might tell you if its related to your power supply
