you can actually just pull them off... just dab a bit of super glue and stick it back on(but dont glue it to the base itll never turn again lol)

Well its not that the knob is worn out. Its the base where you put the knob on. When I take the knob off i can wobble the thing that the knob goes on

It's worn - only way to fix it is replacing the whole pot.

Yes I have, it's pretty easy - desolder, remove, solder in new one, done.

How would I know? You didn't even tell what SP you have :P

Anyways open it and look yourself - most of the time there is the type and manufacturer printed on the sides or bottom of the body.

Where do you get it? Your local electronics shop can surely order it for you.
Or what the hell, where do you usually get spares for gear of manufacturer X?
Yes, ask X.

Getting a pot replaced is something usually a repair technician does. I say this because generally/most of the time the old pot will need to be de-soldered and the new one re-soldered. I don't know about you, but I do not want to trust my soldering skills on my sampler. I'd rather give it to a pro and let him fix so he's responsible for anything that might go wrong. I make it sound scary, but replacing pots is a pretty common thing. Just make some calls and see what you can figure out.
