Recording from Inputs

Post by METAFYZIKAL »

To bypass the 4 track limit, I would use Cool Edit to record my tracks from the sp. This is also the only way I am able to record sounds from my Juno-D synth; no sequencer on the juno :(.

My computer is acting up and I am unable to record to a computer. I have been trying to find a way to record my Juno to the sp. Sampling works, but I would like to play my drum patterns from the sp while recording from the audio inputs. Is there a way to do this?

No one, eh?

I guess I will have to sample the keyboard and use an external metronome...

hey. no idea how it worx on the 606, but on the 404 you gotta use an external system (such as cool edit pro). i asked the same question about the 404, here:

You can play along with your drum patterns, but you can't record from the inputs while the sp is playing. This is because the sp uses the compact flash card as ram. That's the price of mass storage with no load time I'm afraid.
