SP-Forums Awards Ceremony?

We gotta add some culture to this forum.
I was thinking we should make a small award ceremony for this forum, with a few different categories, and we get to nominate members for the award.
Some examples could be Producer of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Funniest Member, Most Helpful, something like that.
Who thinks this is a good idea?

Current categories:

Producer of the Year
Newcomer of the Year
Funniest Member
Most Helpful Member
Tape of the Year
Beat of the Year
Most Creative/Innovative Producer
Best 202/303/404/505/606/555/MV User

What about 4ormal (that's me) as the biggest SP wanna-be-dreamer? I been lurkin the forum for years and still don't have an SP...... Yes, I am very ashamed :oops:

You can blame it on that evil sampletrak black magic!

On a serious note, I vote Phemox as most helpful and Ellaguru as most persistent and obsessive SP user (just look at his collection!)

could also do it up box-by-box. biggest fanboy for:

mv - olby
202 - LBJ
303 - ?
404 - ?
505 - it's pro'lly me, lol

etc.

Ok, how about we name some serious ideas for categories, now, alright?
This is what I've got:

Best Producer
Best 202, 303, 404, 505, 555, 606, MV, etc. User
Most Innovative/Creative Producer
Best Newcomer (question, how long are you still a newcomer? 1 year?)
Most Helpful Member
Funniest Member

Give me some more suggestions and I'll make a new thread.
Then we can nominate members, then vote.
Does this sound like a plan?

Excellent ideas. It's not too difficult to make some polls and so on.

Perhaps it should depend on how many beats you've posted or something. I assume Best Newcomer doesn't necessarily mean Best Newbie as far as making music goes, right?
