Sunlight on the screen

i took my sp-404 with to turkey last summer because i thought it would be nice to make beats outside in the sun. but it was so bright i couldnt even read my screen i had to sit there with a towel over my head on the beach !
anyone had a hard time with this?

if i could be chillin on the beach, then i wish i had this problem
