Most of the females I've know that were into making music were singers or dug the guitar. As far as any electronic music forum goes most of the ladies won't make it obvious because they don't wanna be singled out. From my experience anyway. So who's the tranny?

why don't girls use samplers? they do everything else... guitar, sing, dj, drums, rap, piano, whatever! Pam from the coup is the only female i can think of that has had a hand in hip-hop production, and i think she was strictly doing just the cuts! forgive me if i'm missing a really obvious one though. and as for the rest of the world of samples and loops, only a couple come to mind. maybe jarboe or masonna. but i don't know shit about most electronic music.

I met a chick last night at a job interview that was beautiful and when we got ta rappin' I found she was tryin' ta learn the wheels of steel. They're out there but most dudes are to aggressive or tryin' ta spit game instead of getting to know ladies which can scare them off or make them not share their real interests. Yes- A girl will be trying her sampler and a guy will be all in her mix like "let me show you how to do this... not that way", then another guy will come along and be like "nah man she needs to do it like this.." then them two dudes will start fist fighting and the girl will have to cart them to the hospital instead of making the beat.

DJ Faust's girl, what's her name, Shortee I think, there's one. But I've never met too many (any?) birds that even really listen to beats, much less make 'em. Not to say they aren't out there (see above).
