What would I need to hook up my numark pt-01 turntable to the laptop so I could chop in recycle or audacity? sidebar... i do have a 303

You only need the correct cable from your PT-01 to your computers sound card. You'll probably need another one of that cable to go from your computer to your 303 again.

But why do you want to include a computer in your set-up? I would just rock the 303 with the PT-01.

PS: If your computers sound card is really bad you probably need a new sound card.

i hooked up the pt-01 to my computers soundcard so i can chop in audacity but audacity isn't receiving the audio. whats going on?

make sure in your system preferences you have line in selected, not internal mic.
