A few questions

Post by paulchambers75 »

hi everyone
just git a new 404, but there are a few things i was wondering if anyone
has worked out a work around to:

1. is it possible to pan a mono sample?
2. i cant tune my drums as there is no pitch control, is there another way?
3. just watched some guy online say when its reading off the card it has a delay. is this true or is he talking !'"!èçé"!é"èt'??
4. i'd like to speed up some loops but every time i do this it corrects the pitch,
is there a way to speed a loop or sample up without the pitch control (so it sounds higher)?

great forum by the way,
happy new year everyone!
cheers

MARK to choose one that sin the correct position;

there is a pitch control, it just fucks up the sound. there is kinda a work around. i think its the 2nd control on mfx#24 tunes it- the 1st control messes with the quality. it can only tune down. you can resample short samples like drum hits. sometimes it gets fucked up and cuts off a piece so you gotta delete and try again.

NO LATENCY (that is the word you were looking for) the card is just as fast as the internal memory.

so when you are importing say, snares ad hi hats from your DAW or another sampler, do u import them as a stereo sample so that it is panned in the right place cos if you import a mono sample it cant be panned obviosly?
