www.homerecording.com/bbs really good site
www.futureproducers.com don't go on it any more, it's infuriating to see 1) The lack of knowledge and 2) The arrogant responses from the people with knowledge.
and www.weed-forums.com from when I was smoking like 4 grams a day

That forum is totally horrible. I never even bothered to register even though at first it seemed like a place with a lot of useful info.
I often have a feeling people try to act all cool and sht over there, but don't really know what they are talking about. At times you can come across insane questions like how to use a MPC5K with FL Studio or the never-ending comparing software daws in endless fan-boy battles. It's crazy.

that shits hella funny homie lol im blazed and that was mad funny for some reason
oh yeah mans. it ^^ makes futureproducers look like a cabbage patch kids forum. fuggin.
anyone here troll around on the tapeop forum? that's the OPPOSITE of futureproducers. buncha doods with incredible info, full-on production creds, etc., and not-so-much attitude.
i just don't go that much because there are usually long and involved questions about fine-tuning the fibre optics on yr joe meek compressors and stuff. fings i can't relate to, cuz they're far too high-end for a bum like me.
but worth checking out....
i get the tapeop magazine, everyone on here should its free in the mail if you can even believe it. it doesnt have alot specifically about sampler/drum sequencer type machines but the knowledge of recording and processing/handling sound is in awesome proportion
the only other forum i go on is my hometown forum

this place... (def the most high forum on the net)... and MPC-forums, but only for the crate diggers section... and now that I think about it, that would be a cool forum to add to this site.
Would anyone else be into a "crate diggers" section where we could talk records and maybe open communication on trading/selling rare finds? I think a record exchange would be dope... mailing some rare ish overseas or something.

I brought up an idea like this a while ago. Not too many were interested, maby it would be worth another shot though.
