404 is the way to go. You can do some sampling/beatmaking on the road, at the park, or whatever, then bring it back to the studio and set it up to your MV. The creativity and the possibilities are endless.

I need to get into one of these sp battles. Hopefully I'll get in the next one.

Yeah, I've talked to a few people that use a 404 + MV or 555 + MV combo, the 555 is still a little expensive to just buy again, but perhaps I'll get me a second hand 404 instead. :)

Anyways, there's always this itch to go back to an SP... somehow I got addicted to it, lol.
