Bank Operation Mode

Code: Select all

- Added COPY BANK, CHANGE BANK and DELETE BANK.
- Bank actions are activated by holding the corresponding button for approximately 1.2 seconds. 
- The active action button blinks blue while BOM is active.
- COPY BANK: select multiple destination banks; a shared overwrite confirmation dialog is used.
- CHANGE BANK: swap entire banks, including swaps with an empty destination bank.
- DELETE BANK: select multiple banks and delete them without an additional confirmation dialog.
- Switch between COPY BANK and CHANGE BANK while preserving the source bank and active status; pending destination  selections are cleared.
- Cancel COPY BANK and CHANGE BANK before execution; CANCEL exits  Bank Operation Mode.
- Empty source banks are detected and cannot be copied, swapped or deleted.
Display Texts and Feedback
- Standardised COPY, CHANGE and DELETE messages, with dynamically displayed source and destination details.
- Unified display text capitalisation.
- COPY and CHANGE display FINISHED after successful completion.
- DELETE displays the selected items before execution and only FINISHED afterwards.
- Existing Android overwrite confirmation dialogs for COPY remain unchanged.

SP 404 BUDDY


An android app to manage pattern on the OG 404.

Put your card reader into your phone and copy pattern real quick - that was the goal.

It's all AI coded. The UI was designed around my POCO F7 - have not seen it on any other displays yet...

Manual is in the app.


Thread's for bugs and troubleshooting, questions. Works stable at my end.
Androids re-recognition of cards is terrible - the reader itself is a safe one...

Hey what's up man..
I'm still lurking from time to time. Gotta jump in the arena soon to get a better hang of the MK2 and all the updates I missed...

The OG still has a special place in my heart, tough l. I can use this things blindfolded but the process of copying patterns via backup function and reloading takes too much time and often crashes.

I've seen some downloads of the app - that's nice - check back for future updates
Feel free to post issues. Mainly interested on how it looks on different devices.

In the next v0.38 I'll integrate the option to copy, change, delete whole banks. The feature already works. Just needs some text fixing and other minor fixes. Will update first thread then.

Once the feature ist tested, I wanna convert the SP-404 Buddy into a SP-303 Buddy, as it organizes pattern the same way the 404 does.

To make things clear: I can't code shit! I did this with the free version of ChatGPT and just pasted codes into "Android Studio'. It was a fun ride. Crazy what's possible today...

There's already a tiny easter egg in the app which gets activated by a 404 command... Can u find it?
