Post by jbl »

not to be rude but i am sorta astonished at the lack of knowledge on basic cords and what they do. i'm no expert and can sure learn more, so i started this to give people a chance add their piece.

Umbilical cord

In placental mammals, the umbilical cord (also called the birth cord or funiculus umbilicalis) is the tube that connects a developing embryo or fetus to the placenta.
