The Roland MS-1 was my first sampler 25 years ago, but only a few weeks ago I got the opportunity to try out its successors, the SP202 and SP303. I've been making Hip Hop beats ITB since the early days of VST plugins, but I've always liked to buy old samplers to see what they are about and then sell them again. Nowadays most of the Eighties samplers have become too expensive to do that, but in the last couple of months I've learned there are quite a few later released gems left that are still affordable. As you guys already know the SP202 and SP303 are two of those. They were fun to use and unfortunately they had to go again, but maybe one day I'll get another SP, a 505 for example. So I'll visit the SP-Forums from time to time if that's okay with you.

We always welcome new people. I too own the MS-1, the SP202, SP404 & SP505. Also a Akai S20 & Zoom ST224. I don’t think most of us use rackmount Akais, Emus, Ensoniqs, etc. Mainly DAWs & table top drum machines/samplers.

But chances are, if you want to know about a synth or had a question about modular CV gear, sometimes someone might have your answer. But regardless we aren’t too picky on what you own. It’s all about what you make with it!
