what up beans?
So, I got an Elektron DT a while back and it is quite nice. While it's not perfect (no battery, internal memory only), it's so close to a perfect sampler for me.
They've been doing a lot of updates and it's starting to really prove itself now that we can import/export. And we just a compressor, which seems good but unfinished.
Anyway, if you got any questions, I'll try and answer.
Honestly, I havent been making music for a while but it looks like I'll start getting more time again soon. When I get some jams together, I'll be sure to share.

Re: Digitakt
Whatup JBL!!! Long time no see. Looking forward to hearing some tunes with this piece.
Re: Digitakt
I'm like 90% sure I'm getting a Digitakt.
I gave my brother my MPC 1000 & bought a MPC 2500 about a year & a half ago...... I love the 2500, but also love the 1000. I got the 2500 cuz I planned to control my whole set up with it, but soon realized I prefer bouncing around between small set ups.
My brother isn't using the 1000, so my plan is to sell the 2500, get the 1000 back AND a Digitakt. Since the Digitakt handles samples a little different than a MPC, it would be cool to combine forces! Use it with my sp too, they would go great together as well!
How do you like the workflow? I've watched a ton of youtube demos & I know chopping is a little different.....as far as I can tell I could use 1 track for the melody chops, they just have to be played different (assign a different portion of the sample to the different slots?)
It seems like it's a really creative & inspiring sampler. I think it would go well with an MPC & sp too.
& yea, it would be cool to hear some Digitakt jams of yours

Re: Digitakt
I think the chopping is like a mpc 2000 but it has to be done in the buffer.
Other than a snappier sound convertor and better effects, the mpc has it all really. I'd guess it's also a little quicker. I mean there's plocks but that sort of can be achieved with the mpc, just way slower
