Joji using SP404sx

What do you guys think of Joji aka Filthy Frank using an sp404. Hes kind of bringing it to the more mainstream audience in my opinion. Hes all over websites like Pigeons and Plains and MTVs youtube channel. Ive seen instragram pictures of him using a sp404 and an sx at his live performance at boiler room, any other more recent big artists using Sps ?

Are you talking about notable artists? If so alot ive seen Grimes, Mild High Club, James Blake, Animal Collective, Toro y Moi and lots of others. I'd say the 404 is pretty much as standard as the MPC in terms of a sampler that many people in the industry use nowadays.

Its fucking shit, luckily you can still buy SX's new or used in some places. All they did was give it a paint job which I think is fucking ugly. They need to add new features or I think at least an internal battery even some replaceable lithium ion batteries.
