The numark has the little trick, when you push the switch between 33 and 45 itplays super slow, it also has 78. I use the trick a lot when sampling. The speed on the 1200's is only plus/minus 8 and 33/44 only

Man this is why I love going through old posts yo, now I know how to get shit reel slow with my numark now and get to just slow enough to get quick stuff at that nice slow tempo that I can handle.

Waddup homies! Yeah, I had high hopes for the Digitakt but lack of updates, limited to sample only on the first eight buttons while buttons 9 to 16 are reserved for MIDI devices. I want to utilize all 16 triggers with my samples. And its still buggy. Dudes talking about 3 to 4 years until its perfect at Elektronauts, fuck that. Sold it and used the dough and 20%off at MF to cop the DJS-1000, which is bananas.

I'm still loving the Live, its a dope piece, the DJS will not replace it though, Live is for deep studio production which is the modern day MV for me, the other is SP-esique type madness for live situations and churning boom bap beats.

Hey kel! I got a portable dvd player and sample movies to fuck around. Sometimes I catch something in the audio weird or funny and loop it to get sampled in the MPC. It really aged, sampled films thru the inputs look like mp4 quality and boxy. But uploading clips from the computer by USB in HD looks great. I can also upload an mp3 to play. Usually I compile the best gifs of porn and play scenes to the beat.

Temporary set up in my living room. Once my brother gets his own place I'll have a room specifically for my gear. A few pieces of gear, mic's & vinyl are not shown. A lot of the portable gear isn't hooked up. I have cables handy for when I want to throw something in the mix or when I make a little set ups on my coffee table. Hopefully the pics show up, 1st time posting pics in a forum.
