Open Challenge #6 (Use Your Head)

Hopefully you guys will dig this idea.....

For this challenge you may only use your head. Beatboxing/singing with your mouth, slamming your head against the wall for a kick drum.... Be creative! Hands are only for your SP/DAW.You can use your SP's internal mic, or you can use any mic (headphones if you don't have one).

As always, all outside everything allowed. BUT if if you plan on using a synthesizer or guitar, be prepared to play it with your tongue

I encourage participants to include an explanation of how they arrived at the final product, i think it would be fun to read

The deadline is March 16th, 11PM PST.

Awesome idea! This was super fun. I have never cared for beat boxing sounds so for my drums I just filled up a bank with a bunch of random popping sounds I made with my mouth and pitched them around and layered my favorite ones together. I also used my tooth clicking on the screw below the mic and my beard rustling around on the mic for extra percussion sounds. For all the "instrument" sounds I just sang a C major 7 chord in solfege and pitched those samples up and down and layered them with tons of fx. This track was like 80% mfx 20 and 21

all came from my mouth. The eq ,the chorus ,the high pass, the low pass, the delay,the tuning,for working the samples, the timestretch,the scratch, the seq for live playing.

recorded some random vocal sounds using an olympus recorder, then sampled to a sp-505 and resampled over and over. used fx such as delay, vocal transformer, filter, pitch, reverb, slicer, etc. lol. fun challenge, looking forward to hearing everyones tracks. peace.
