I've never been to L.A before and I'm going this weekend to see Autechre. Does anybody know of some dope spots to hit up in the Echo Park area?

I've never been to that area of L.A., but this really fine girl I worked with in Seattle was from Echo Park.

AUTECHRE!!!!! Fucking aaaaaAmazing!
Just got back in town from the show and my head is still swimming.
They barely even played any stuff from their new album - which surprised me a little - but they treated us to over an hour of brand new sick breaks and shit-your-pants-basslines.

Hey Doc - yeah I guess Echo Park may not be considered one of the nicest neighborhoods - But damn. It's beautiful. So are the people in it. There's a lot of culture in that area. I made quite a few friends too that are gonna put me up for a few days when I go back next month. I HIGHLY recommend TiGeorge's Chicken, an small Haitian restaurant on Glendale.

But 6th and G St. in San Bernadino,,, that place is no joke. I had a few beers with some cats there when there was a four hour lay-over at the greyhound station. Some serious hardcore hustlin muthafucka's there! I bought a beat CD from a cat called Rite-Origin. I've never heard such grimey beats!
