Connect sp404sx with sp404??

Hi everyone, I'm totally noob in sp's.
Is possibly to connect an Sp404sx with another Sp404 to mix the effects, like connected in parallel.
I play in 404sx and with the 404 apply extra effects or both (sp404sx & sp404) at the same time. I connect de output 404sx to the input in 404, but it does not sound.

i thought you could connect via the rca cables .. so the red n white from out put on 1 goes to the the other .. vice versa .. you dont want both on Ext Source @ the sametime cos it will cause a feeback loop

.. if you canti dont understand why not.. maybe have to keep undoing the cables to avoid the loop? .. its a bounce back and forward method

i know people have achieved it with a 404 + 555 .. and 404 + 303 setup

just need to go from both headphone jacks to mixer, or switch headphones each time you bounce...
