303 locks up

Hi everyone, i recently got a second hand 303 from ebay. All seems to be working fine apart from one problem. If i leave it on its own without touching any pads for about 10 mins it seems to "lock up". I cant seem get it out of this state until i turn it off and on again. All it seems to do is blink "303" on the display.
Is this normal? or am i missing something?

No thats not normal mine has never done that, except when I turn it on. Mine does glitch out though doesnt play pads from my pattern sometimes. Also sometimes when I trim a sample with the mark button and put it into a pattern it will play the whole sample untruncated. other than that I love my machine

Ok i think i sorted it. I think the power supply was faulty which would explain why it kept flickering the intro "303" as it was effectively turning it self on and off. Tried it out with another boss adapter and seems to be fine.
